Today, Vantage customers can subscribe to plans in the Enterprise Tier via the Azure Marketplace. The Azure Marketplace offers a secure and seamless method for facilitating payments from your Azure account to Vantage.
Before, Vantage customers could only pay directly with ACH, via credit card, with payments processed securely through Stripe, or via the AWS Marketplace. Customers who primarily use Azure as their cloud provider encountered additional overhead when bringing on Vantage as a new vendor because a member of their organization had to manage a credit card for payments and ensure that the credit card was kept up to date.
Now, customers can subscribe to Vantage via the Azure Marketplace. When you subscribe through the Marketplace, Azure will use existing billing details associated with your Azure account to automatically facilitate payments to Vantage. Azure never shares your billing details with Vantage and acts as a payment intermediary.
To get started, contact the Vantage sales team to provision a custom Azure Marketplace plan for your account. See the FAQ, below, for additional details
1. What is the Azure Marketplace?
The Azure Marketplace is a digital catalog with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that make it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software that runs on Azure.
2. How do I subscribe to Vantage via the Azure Marketplace?
3. I’m currently subscribed to Vantage via credit card, does this announcement affect me?
It doesn’t. Current customers do not need to change subscriptions to the Azure Marketplace.
4. I’m currently subscribed with a credit card but want to transition to payments via the Azure Marketplace. How can I do this?
Please contact support@vantage.sh, and we can assist with transitioning your subscription from a credit card to the Azure Marketplace.
5. Can I use Vantage coupon codes along with the Azure Marketplace?
Not at this time. Coupons are facilitated through Stripe, and coupon functionality isn’t supported for Azure Marketplace subscriptions at this time.
6. Do I need to pay any additional fees for subscribing via the Azure Marketplace?
There are no additional fees for subscribing via the Azure Marketplace.
7. Will Vantage support Custom Tiers via the Azure Marketplace?
Only custom pricing is available via the Azure Marketplace. Self-serve plans are not currently supported.
8. What happens if I cancel my subscription on the Azure Marketplace?
At this time, only fixed-term contracts are available via the Azure Marketplace.
